Volunteer

Community Living Georgina truly values the role played by volunteers and recognizes the significant opportunities they provide to the people we support. 

Community Living Georgina offers a number of areas in which people can work as a volunteer.  High

school students may earn volunteer hours through participation and involvement.

Leisure friend

• • Spend time with individuals, going for a walk, sharing a coffee
  • Share skills (ie. crafts/music/literacy)

Fundraising

• • Planning and implementing fundraising events
  • Promoting the Association through public awareness activities

Recreation Events

• • Participate at monthly social events
  • Participate in a weekly sports recreation activity

PSW Placements

• • Providing work placement opportunities to personal support worker students

Board of Directors

• • Provide leadership and help shape the direction of the services and supports provided through the Association.
