Are you in need of respite?
Community Living Georgina offers respite service for people’s families which can be used for a couple of hours or days. The person can be supported in their own home or in the home of the respite provider.
If your family member is 18 years of age or older, and you are interested in receiving respite supports, contact Developmental Services Ontario – Central East Region, the access point for adult developmental services.

Interested in being a respite provider?
Being a respite provider is a great opportunity to share skills and assist people with a developmental disability to form new relationships. Depending on the type of respite you provide (In-Home or Hosting); providers are compensated either hourly or flat rate. The level of commitment can be quite flexible and is individual to each family based on their needs.
Respite providers will be required to have a current (6 months) completed vulnerable sector screening.
